Cincinnati is in the running to be a test markets for Google Fiber, but we need your help to make it happen. Google Fiber is a super high- speed broadband service capable of delivering information at speeds 100 times what we are used to.
A few months ago Google mentioned it was looking for cities to test the technology and now they’ve turned it over to a vote. Through May 6th Google is hosting a web based contest for the title of “Most Deserving City for Google Fiber”. Cincinnati is one of 42 cities competing and right now, we are getting smoked by the competition (just 274 votes).
