Wine blogger Michelle Lentz is organizing the 2nd Annual Dinner and Silent Auction to benefit the Krystal Pepper Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship is in memory of her sister, who passed away 1.5 years ago. The scholarship will help elementary education majors at Thomas More.

The event takes place at The Briarwood Reception Hall in Hebron, KY on April 18 from 6-10 p.m. Cost is $30 in advance or $35 at the door, children 10 and under are free. Tickets are available here: purchase tickets online

Evening includes a silent auction where there will of course be lots of great wine and wine related items including wine gift baskets from David & Jan Lazarus’s personal cellar; a French wine basket from The Party Source, wines from Kinkead Ridge, Hyde Park Wine & Spirits, and Harmony Hill.

Parenting blogger and CWB co-founder Shannan Boyer is helping organize a benefit to raise funds for the Drawdy family who recently lost everything when their home burned down. 

The fundraiser takes place at Molly Malone’s in Covington on Friday, April 10^th and starts at 8:00 p.m. A $15 donation is suggested. The evening will include music by Roger Drawdy and the Firestarters as well as a silent auction.
